The LifeCrown® is an exit indicator device placed onto a hoseline male coupling to serve as a tool to assist firefighters at a critical moment involving life and death.

Our hoselines or lifelines as they are commonly called serve a dual purpose - used to extinguish fires while also providing a means to an exit and safety.  The LifeCrown® makes the lifeline better by eliminating any guesswork at a moment when time and thought are simply not an option.

Firefighters have long used firehose coupling rocker lugs as a means to determine which direction leads to the nozzle and which direction leads out of the building.  The LifeCrown® is a tool that incorporates present day fireground training while further enhancing the importance of firehose couplings to firefighter survival.  At LifeCrown Industries we feel that firefighters deserve better than 50/50 odds when making a decision with possible life and death consequences.

*The LifeCrown®  was designed to fit 1 3/4"  Red Head, Action and National male couplings.  On all other makes of male couplings the LifeCrown® application must be smooth and require no force with points resting on coupling's surface between the lugs.  Contact us for information regarding your specific fire department couplings.
